The Usher’s Ministry of Soul Harvest was organized in May 2007 by Lady Terry Griffin with only one usher, the late Usher Vashti Chapman. Lady Terry put a call out for others to join, the Usher’s Ministry grew to 10 members strong. In January 2008, Lady Terry saw the need to expand the ministry once again and invited all interested persons to come out for a ministry meeting. At that meeting, five additional members joined and Sis. Tanika Carwile was appointed as President. From that day forth, the ministry has grown and still thriving till this day. Sis. Tanika Carwile appointed Lil Miss Chelsy Griffin as the first President of the Jr. Ushers. Since the Pandemic, the ministry has combined and has served the church faithfully since the reopening.

The Mission: To unite, develop, educate and strengthen the skills of those that have scoffed the challenge of a person-to-person ministry within the church.
